For the 2nd year in a row, the team that was the best from Week 1 right up through Week 17 won the 2024 KAOS Cup. And it wasn’t even close. Springfield Flanders jumped out to an early 224-141 lead and never looked back. They struggled in Week 17, only putting up 97 points, but Dark Helmet was dead in the water, mustering up a mere 98 points himself.

Flanders enjoyed a balanced scoring attack that was led by Puka Nakua (65), Dak Prescot (50) and Chris Olave (36). It wasn’t a masterpiece outing for Flanders, but it got the job done.

On the other side we had Dark Helmet who hung tough all year, but fizzled in the end. Bo Nix (38), James Cook (38) and Zay Flowers (34) played okay, but this was not nearly enough for Dan to snag his first Championship.

This was an odd season. Glenn’s team was really, really good, but nothing like the juggernauts we have had in more recent seasons (2024 - MKBA and 2023 - MFT come to mind). There were no other teams that I can look at and say had a legitimate shot to win a championship this year. Roster flaws and debilitating injuries were abundant this season:

• (#2) Dark Helmet was clearly the 2nd best team, but as we found out was not in the league of Flanders.

• (#3) Skoal Bandits was probably the 3rd best team, but how seriously can we take a team that did not have two legitimate stating starting QBs ready to start the playoffs?

• (#4) MKBA was too banged up from injuries to be a serious threat this year.

• (#5) Stick Rock’s team decided to call it quits some time around Halloween.

• (#6) MFT was once again too rookie dependent. By the time his players were ready to produce, they were already out of the playoff race.

• (#7) John’s Scary Team had an up and down rookie season. But maybe he will learn that you need more than 3 good QBs to compete, especially when you can only start 2.

• (#8) Peeping Tomlins is becoming the poster child for not being good enough for the playoffs but not bad enough to tank with another middling performance in 2025.

• (#9) Black Ghostbusters was wise enough to realize that it wasn’t happening this year and became sellers at the deadline.

• (#10) Wrath of Kahn, with the weirdest FF Season to date. An outstanding W/L record that kept them in the playoff race until the last week only to lose and end up the 10th ranked team.

Now lets talk finances. The following schedule shows the 2025 KAOS Payout:

The big winner this year is Glenn, as he gets $550.

So I need $100 from Rocky, Jared, Jim and $50 from CJ.

Dan wins $50 net, which I can combine with the $100 John owes, so I need $50 from the Hart family.

Pete will get $50 when the money is collected.

Now lets discuss 2026! Here are a few rules we will be changing for next year. If anyone has any additional ideas they would like considered, feel free to add your comments below.

• Roster sizes will go from 20 to 16 next season.

• Add one additional Flex spot that can be used for a RB or WR.

• Allow TE to be used in one Flex spot. (So to be specific, we will have one RB/WR flex spot and add an additional Flex spot that will be RB/WR/TE)

• Guillotine league will be used to determine 2027 draft order.

• Those who do not want to participate in the Guillotine league will be slotted behind those who join. The Order of non-participants will be in reverse of the final 2026 standings.

• Move up Trade deadline to after Week 10. Nobody makes any trades anyway, so this really should have a minimal impact.

Man. Springfield Flanders continue to make a mockery of the 2025 Playoffs. After beating the Bandits by nearly 100-points last week, they currently lead Dark Helmet this week 224-141. How certain is victory? So certain that they are etching Flanders name on the KAOS Cup as we speak.

But who gives a crap about how Glenn’s team is doing. The rest of us are dreaming about hoisting the cup in 2026. Below, I have assembled a way to early look at who should be kept next year for each team. Please note that I based these projections on not just player performance this year (through Week 13 - our regular season final), but also the players age, contract situation, health and how good is the offense they play in. So you may wonder why I don’t have a guy like DaVante Adams as a keeper, it is because of his age and the uncertainty that is always surrounding Matthew Stafford’s health. Similarly, I have CMC on the “maybe” list for keepers. Even though he was the #1 RB this year, he has had health issues in the past and a player who has had as many touches as CMC this year (322 through week 14) have slumped badly the following year.

For example:

• In 2022, Josh Jacobs was RB1 and touched the ball 400 times. In 2023, he rushed for 800 yards and ended up the RB27.

• In 2024, Saquon Barkley was RB1 and had 375 touches. So far in 2025, he has rushed 740 yards and is the RB14. Not bad, but also not a slam dunk keeper.

Also, the QB overall rankings are a little wonky due to our 2-QB format but their positional rankings are accurate. Drake Maye is the 42nd overall ranked player, which I think is too low (he probably should be in the 25-30 range), but his positional ranking of QB05 is accurate.

So here is my take on who each team should keep in 2026 (Teams are listed in the preliminary 2026 draft order, pending playoff results.)

KAOS will crown a new champion this year after Dark Helmet defeated the reigning champions 314-274 in Round 1 of the playoffs. They will go on to face the heavily favored Springfield Flanders who coasted to the Championship game with a 326-229 thrashing of the Skoal Bandits.

Dark Helmet 314.76 v. Mel Kipers BA 274

MKBA’s wobbly title defense came to an abrupt (all though fully expected) end this week as the heavily favored preseason team just couldn’t survive the season-long barrage of injuries. Jayden Daniels got hurt in the first half of the 2-week matchup and was unable to play in the 2^nd half. Jahmyr Gibbs (46.8), Lamar Jackson (41.66) and CeeDee Lamb (35.2) were okay, but they needed to be spectacular if they were going to pull off the upset.

Meanwhile, Dark Helmet received consistent scoring up and down the lineup, led by Bo Nix (53.06), Tre McBride (448.2) and James Cook (43.2). The Ravens D/ST also came up big putting up 28 points in Week 14. That is more points than Dan got from that position during the first 2-months of the regular season (zero points)!

Springfield Flanders 326 v. Skoal Bandits 229

This one went pretty much as expected. Without Drake Maye, CMC and Brock Purdy for Week 14, The Bandits were already behind the 8-ball. The fact that the bench was short on talent did not help matters and Flanders goes on to an easy 97-point victory. Puka Nacua (63.6), Travis Etienne (54.7) and Jared Goff (49.68) helped Flanders jump out to a 70 point lead in Week 1 and they never looked back.

Bijan Robinson (38.9), Brock Purdy( 32.2) and Jacobi Meyers (26.9) led the Bandits in defeat. Let’s look at that again. Bijan’s 2-week total was 38.9. If the Bandits had any chance to win, Bijan needed that many points EACH week, not combined. Brock Purdy was the 2^nd highest scorer. You remember Purdy. The guy I mentioned in the first paragraph that did not play Week 14. So, yeah. When a guy who only played one week is your 2^nd highest scorer, you know you are in trouble. And finally, Jacobi Meyer was the 3^rd best performer. With 26.9 Points. Flanders had 3 guys score that many points in Week 15 alone.

That gives us a KAOS CUP Final that pits the All-time KAOS Wins co-leader against the team currently third on the all-time wins list. These two teams have been the most consistent scorers throughout the entire season, so both deserve their spots in the title game. Dan pits his three-headed RB attack up against Glenn’s complete lineup. Keys to the matchup are:

Springfield Flanders

· WRs will need to keep playing well. Nacua was a given to be a top 3 WR this year, but Olave (WR8) and Waddle (WR15) have been pleasant surprises.

· QBs Need to not stink. Dak Prescott (QB5) and Jared Goff (QB7) need to keep playing above their heads. They might not be the best NFL QBs, but they are getting it done in Fantasy Football. But both can put up a single-digit outing at any time. Flanders can survive one poor outing, but two could doom is quest for the cup.

· The Travis Etienne renaissance needs to continue. An after-thought when drafted in the 12^th round, Etienne went on to be the RB8 through 15 weeks.

Dark Helmet

· The QBs have to revert back to their 1^st half production. Bo Nix had a big Week 15, so maybe he can deliver in the finals, But Sam Darnold has averaged just 15 points over his last 6 games.

· Davante Adams has to play and be productive. This team is already short on talent at the WR position and if Adams (WR6) is unable to go, Helmet will have a tough time keeping up with Flanders.

· Trey McBride (TE1) is averaging 19.4 points a game. He’ll need to total 50 points over the next 2 weeks.

Prediction:

Flanders has the advantage at QB and WR while Dan has the better RB s and TE. This is close, but the Adams injury could be crippling. Flanders 315 – Helmet 290.

Consolation Game:

MFT 286 over Stick Rock 235

MFT defeated Stick Rock in the consolation game to win back $50. Josh Allen (76.36), Josh Jacobs (42.4) and Dallas Goedert (40.8) led them to the 286-235 victory. For Stick Rock, the collapse is complete. The guy who was flying high through 8 weeks, completes the crash and burn. Mike Wilson (53.6), Jordan Love (41.2) and Joe Burrow (36.86) played well in defeat.

Losers Bracket:

Black Ghostbusters 255 over Wrath of Kahn 216

Trevor Lawrence (77.66) Amon Ra St Brown (56.6) and Jamar Chase (33.4) helped the Ghostbusters cruise to an easy victory over Wrath of Kahn. You know, the team that nearly snuck into the playoffs but instead ended up in 10^th place? Jameson Williams (43.7), Baker Mayfield (36.26) and Chase Brown (34.5) kept this game closer than it should have been.

Peeping Tomlins 238 over Johns Scary Team 233

In a game that was decided by less than 5 points, a healthy TE would have helped as both teams had injured players in those slots for week 15. But the Tomlins, led by Jacoby Brissett (49.6), Calen Williams (41.92) and Nico Collins (41.6) put up just enough points to defeat JST and advance to the lottery pick game against the Ghostbusters with a chance to earn the first pick after the keeper rounds in the 2026 Draft.

JST nearly pulled off the 20-point comeback in Week 15. Matt Stafford (54.16), JSN (46.4) and Deandre Swift (33.8) played well in defeat.

Only four teams have an historical W/L pct. In addition to the two teams mentioned, Dark Helmet (.520) and Wrath of Kahn (.519) are also above water.

What an anti-climactic ending to a season that looked like it was going to go down to the wire. Through the first ten weeks, we had 8 teams still in reasonable contention for a playoff spot. By Week 13, we had 5 teams still fighting for the final three spots with Flanders being the only team to clinch. So that should have led to some exciting finishes this Thanksgiving weekend, right? Right?!?

But no. It was not meant to be. It became apparent during the day games on Thursday that Stick Rock might have left his best shot for winning a wild card on the bench as Jordan Love (34) and Christian Watson (20) combined for 54 points. How bad was it? Rocky’s bench outscored his starters 143-113. They went into the week needing to outscore the Bandits by 14 points and the Bandits did their best to cooperate by failing to crack 130 points. But the Bandits did just enough to grab the 2nd Wild Card spot.

In the other sad ending to a playoff race, MKBA needed only to win a game to eliminate Wrath of Kahn. But the team that came into the season as the odds-on favorite to win it all continued their sputtering ways and lost to the probable 2025 Champions – Springfield Flanders. But do not worry, Peter. Jim was equally inept failing to kick the door that you left cracked open. Needing just 136 points to defeat Dark Helmet and grab the division title, the men of Kahn were not up to the task. His last-ditch hope for a big game from Stephon Diggs came up short and now Kahn finds himself in the loser’s bracket hoping to snag the first pick in round 5 of next year’s KAOS Draft.

So, with that our playoff lineups are set. An anxious Glenn Spoto selected to play Skoal Bandits at 5:28 PM on Sunday. Don’t believe me? Here is the text:

The other matchup will pit Dark Helmet vs. Mel Kiper’s Best Available. This is a rematch of last year’s first round game that MKBA won 360 – 259.

This is the team to beat. Everything went right for Glenn as he fields the most balanced team in the league. The QBs have been solid (Dak and Goff), the RB’s (Achane and Etienne) dependable and the WRs (Waddle and Nacua) are good enough. If Brock Bowers can regain his 2024 form at TE, this team will be unstoppable.

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)

Definitely not the juggernaut we all expected this year, but they were able to eke out a division championship in a weak Adams Division. Lamar Jackson is still here, but he looks like a different player in 2025. CeeDee Lamb has become the WR2 on his own team and Jayden Daniels is hurt. Luckily, the 4th keeper (Jahmyr Gibbs - RB3) has delivered on the preseason hype. IF Jayden Daniels can come back healthy and IF Lamar Jackson and CeeDee Lamb can revert back to their former selves, MKBA has a chance to repeat. More likely though, this team looks like a one-and-done.

3. Dark Helmet (Last Week #3)​

Everybody’s auto-draft darlings are back in the playoffs led by a monster trio of Running Backs - James Cook (RB6), Javonte WIlliams (RB7) and Saquon Barkley (RB14). When Barkley is the third best RB on your team, maybe auto-draft is the way to go. Add in the Davante Adams (WR6) revival and the best TE in the game (Trey McBride - TE1) and you have a team that is probably hte best equipped to knock off Flanders. As long as the QBs don’t kill them (Bo Nix - QB11 and Sam Darnold - QB15)

Championship Odds: +200

4. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #4)

As stated above, the Week 14 Byes are going to kill any hope of an upset. When this roster is whole, they sport the best 1-2 RB punch in the game with CMC (RB1) and Bijan Robinson (RB4). Drake Maye (QB6) has been a revelation in his 2nd season. Unfortunately the WRs have been a bust. Both Ladd McConkey (WR17) and Brian Thomas Jr (WR49) have failed to live up to their pre-draft hype. Maybe Jakobi Myers could provide a spark off the bench. He has looked good since the trade to the Jags, averaging 14 points/game.

Championship Odds: +800

5. Stick Rock (Last Week #5)​​

For the second year in a row, this team has crashed and burned in the 2nd half after leading the league in scoring through October. Rocky has petitioned the league to end the regular season on Columbus Day and wrap up the playoffs before Halloween. Motion REJECTED!

What went right: Jonathan Taylor (RB2) had a great season and Emeka Egbuka was having a solid start to his career until derailed by injuries.

What went wrong: Injuries. In addition to Egbuka going down, Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending injury early and Brandon Aiyuk never saw the playing field. The QB situation was a mess all season long.

Path forward for 2026: Two late season trades have set them up nicely. Will go into next year with four keepers among Joe Burrow, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, George Pickens, Garrett Wilson and Emeka Egbuka.

6. Milford Football Team (Last Week #7)

One of the blandest teams in KAOS in 2025. Not good enough to be taken seriously and not bad enough to be interesting. CJ’s rule change suggestion for 2026 is to exclude rookie players from the draft pool. Motion REJECTED!

What went right: The QBs were great. Keeper Josh Allen (QB1) was his usual reliable self and Daniel Jones (QB7) shocked the football world by putting up elite numbers.

What went wrong: Once again, too dependent on Rookies. Ashton Jeanty (RB12) was okay, but not spectacular. Same for Tetairora McMillan (WR8). Solid, but did not live up to the pre-draft hype. AJ Brown (WR15) had a super disappointing season by his standards and was unplayable at times throughout the year.

Path forward for 2026: Keep Josh Allen and throw everyone else back. There looks to be a lot of talent in the first four rounds of 2026 and at worst you will be able to grab back the players you do not protect.

7. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #6)​

It was an up and down year for JST that ultimately ended up on a downer. John’s rule change suggestion for 2026 is adding another QB slot. Motion REJECTED!

​What went right: QBS! John had three of the top five QBs this year with Patrick Mahomes (QB2), Matthew Stafford (QB3) and Jalen Hurts (QB5). Too bad you can only use 2 in your lineup. Should have traded one for a reliable RB. JSN (WR1) finally had the breakout year everyone was expecting. Surprisingly, Travis Kelce ended the regular season as the TE2!

What went wrong: Everything else. The RBs were unreliable and any of the WRs not named Jaxon Smith-Njigba were a disaster.

​Path forward for 2026: This is one of the easiest fixes. Talk to your dad (I know, nobody wants to do it) and trade one of your 3 QBs for one of his 3 RBs prior to next years draft. Both teams would have a much better roster construction heading into the 2026 season.

8. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #9)

Shhh... It’s been awhile since we heard form Jared. Should somebody wake him? Surely Audra would have called if he died, right?

​​Jared’s rule change suggestion for 2026 is going back to 16-player rosters so the draft does not drag on and on. Motion PASSED! I agree. Nobody wants a 20-round draft.​

What went right: Nothing. Jared is the only team that does not have a top 10 player at ANY position!

​What went wrong: Let’s see. The Vikings QB situation (Justin Jefferson - WR19). Bucky Irving (RB38) could not stay on the field. Using a high draft pick on DK Metcalf (WR27). The Sam Laporta (TE16) injury.

9. Ghostbusters (Last Week #8)

This team could not get anything right all year. When they tried to compete, they stumbled to a 4-6 record. When they decided to tank and traded away half the roster, they went 2-1. The Ghostbuster suggested rule change for 2026 is allowing teams to use WRs in any slot in the lineup. Motion REJECTED!

What went right: WRs. This team drafted three top five receivers. George Pickens (WR2), Amon-ra St Brown (WR4) and Jamarr Chase (WR5). Throw in Stephon Diggs (WR23) and you would think they had a good season. The TE Tyler Warren (TE3) was a steal in the 10th round.

​What went wrong: Every position except WR. Two keeper spots were wasted on Joe Burrow and Kyler Murray who played a COMBINED total of 6 games this year. YIKES!

​Path forward for 2026: Keep Chase, St. Brown and Malik Nabers and throw the rest back.

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #10)​​

And the most polarizing team in 2025, the guy who went form a possible division title to the losers bracket. Jim’s rule change suggestion for 2026 is finalizing the schedule on a weekly basis after the games are played so he can decide who he plays based on the final results. Because that is the only way he can possibly have better scheduling luck than he had this year.

What went right: Did I mention the scheduling god’s smiling face shined down on Jimmy all year?

What went wrong: Wrath of Kahn was only slightly better than Peeping Tomlins with one player in the Top 10 at his position (Rico Dowdle - RB9)

Path forward for 2026: Throw everyone back and start over. There will be at least 15 players better than anyone you would consider keeping for 2026.

No matter how much planning we do in Fantasy Football, a lot of it comes down to... LUCK. Injuries, contract hold outs, trades, and poor performances happen to every team. With that in mind, I have come up with the “Luck” rankings for the 2025 Season. Each team has been broken down into one of these three categories:

• Lucky Teams

• You are what your record says you are (neutral)

• Bad Luck Teams.

The chart below summarizes the luck factor for each team based on scheduling. Term definitions are as follows:​

• Actual Win % is your current W/L pct.

• All Play Win % is what your record would be if you played every team each week. For example, Milford Football Team had the 5th highest win total in Week 3. Therefore, his Week 3 Record would be 5-4 (Higher point total than 5 teams and lower point total than 4)

• Variance is your actual Win % minus the expected win total based on all-play pct.

• Actual Wins = Real Win total.

• Expected Wins = All Win Pct X number of games played.

• +/- win is how many wins you are over or under the expected win total.

So according to this chart, Flanders had the luckiest team in the league this season. They currently have a .923 winning percentage but if you stack up their point totals for each week and compared it to the rest of the league, their all-play percentage would only be .675. That has led to three additional wins then they should have based on performance.

On the other end of the spectrum we have Stick Rock. Their actual win total is two less than expected.

How well do you know your own fantasy team? Sometimes the reality does not match the perception. In an effort to identify the strength and weaknesses of each team, I took the stats of everyone’s starting lineup and compared them to the rest of the league. These statistics are based on players that only appeared in your starting lineup and does not take into account what they did if they were on your bench, a free agent or on another team. So if we take the average weekly point total per team through Week 13, the positional breakdown would be as follows:

Speaking of slow, agonizing deaths.... Holy Crap! This team went from averaging 147 points/game from Weeks 1 - 8 to averaging just 110 points/game over the last 4 weeks. Joe Burrow will make his debut in the lineup this week so that should help. Will need to outscore the Bandits by 40 points this week to advance to the playoffs.

If MKBA drops out of the division lead, Rocky would need to outscore them by 23 points.

6. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)​

​JST is finishing his inaugural season in high scoring fashion as they hung 153 points on MFT this week. If this team had traded from their surplus of QBs this season to get the much needed WR help, they would still be in the Wild Card race.

7. Milford Football Team (Last Week #6)​​​

MFT finally put a bullet in the brain of his slim playoff chances by scoring a mere 112 points in Week 12. Josh Allen’s shocking 8 point performance doomed any chances of a miracle finish.

Ghostbusters won a game! Thats a 2-game winning streak! No, I did not win two consecutive weeks, but I did win games in consecutive months! One in October and one in November!

ZZZzzzzzzzzzz. Go back to sleep Jared. Nothing to see here. I will wake you up in April when the Knicks playoffs start.

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #7)​​

And this is why we decide wild card spots by total points scored. In a week where Jim is fighting for his Division championship, he puts up this 88-point turd burger. Jim needs a win this week coupled with an MKBA loss to advance to the playoffs. I would say they have a 20% chance of that happening. Astoundingly, they probably have about an 80% chance of ending up as the #10 seed with the worst scoring offense in the league!

There are just two remaining games on the schedule and the playoff field is still wide open. Only one team has clinched (Flanders) but the fight for the other three spots has tightened up considerably. MKBA and Wrath of Kahn are separated by only one game in the Patrick Division while Skoal Bandits, Stick Rock and MFT are within 68 points of each other for the last Wild Card spot. Only JST, Peeping Tomlins and the Ghostbusters look like they are done for the season.

If you have one of the seven teams still fighting for a playoff spot, you may want to look to one of those teams for help if you suffered an injury to one of your star players. An injured keeper this year could bring you back 2 or 3 players that can help with one final playoff push.​

1. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #1)

Flanders continues to roll this week with an easy 149-120 victory over Dark Helmet. Dak Prescott (32), Devon Achane (22) and Travis Etienne (19) led the way in this one. The only question left for this team is can it stay healthy enough on their way to a championship?​

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)
​
Man, this team still isn’t scoring, but they keep on winning. This week a paltry 117 points was enough to get them a victory. Treveyon Henderson scored 32.3 points on Thursday Night and Jahmyr Gibbs added another 19 on Sunday Night. But in between, the rest of the lineup only managed a combined 66 points. This team has one and done written all over it.

3. Dark Helmet (Last Week #3)​

Helmets up and down season took another step in the down direction, scoring only 120 points in their loss against Flanders this week. Trey McBride (27.5) and James Cook (20.4) played well this week. The rest of the team did not. They still own the 1st wild card spot by a comfortable margin, but they cannot afford another week like this one.

4. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #5)

The Bandits have clawed their way into the playoff picture, thanks to a 137 point outing against JST, along with down weeks for Stick Rock and Dark Helmet. The RB Duo of CMC (35.1) and Bijan Robinsons (31.3) combined for half the teams point total this week. A healthy Brock Purdy (25) could help a playoff push.

5. Stick Rock (Last Week #4)​​

The team that led the league in scoring through the first 8 weeks continues it’s death spiral, scoring only 103-points this week (and it would have been a lot worse if not for a big Monday Night from George Pickens-29.3). Derrick Henry (21) also played well, but the rest of the lineup combined for a mere 53 points.

6. Milford Football Team (Last Week #6)​​​

MFT continues their slow march into obscurity with a lackluster 103.8-103.0 victory over cousin Rocky. You read that right. They won a game by 0.8 points despite scoring only 103.8 points. In a game where Josh Allen scored 49.68 points. Meaning that the QB nearly outscored the rest of the starting lineup. YIKES!

7. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #10)​​

Jim keeps defying the odds and wins another game in Week 11. And this time they actually looked good doing it. George Kittle (24.7) Jameson Williams (21.7) and Stephon Diggs (19.5) led a balanced attack on their way to an easy 166-124 victory over the Peeping Tomlins. I am not sure this run of incredible luck will end in a playoff appearance, but at least they kept their season interesting.

8. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)​

Welp, it was fun while it lasted, but JST’s faint playoff chances were taken off life support this week with a 91 point outing against the Bandits. JSN (19), Matthew Stafford (17.2) and Jalen Hurts (14.5) were not able to do enough to keep them in the mix in the Wild Card Race this week.

9. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #9)

Jacoby Brisett had 25.88 Points. Nico Collins had 24.2 and the Steelers D/ST added another 22 points. When that trio is leading the team in scoring, you can pretty much guess what type of season it has been for the Tomlins.

10. Ghostbusters (Last Week #7)

At least when the Ghostbusters decide to tank, they do so in spectacular fashion. How good are they at it? They were able to convince WRs Chase Brown (6.0) and Amon Ra St Brown (6.2) to lie down this week to improve their chances at the #1 draft spot in 2026! (although Chase may have taken things a bit far when he spit on a Pittsburgh player to get himself suspended for Week 12.)

We are already at Week 11 and entering the home stretch of the 2025 Fantasy Football season. You may ask, “What is the significance of the #11?” Well, I did some research:

1. 11 symbolizes intuition and enlightenment.

2. 11 is seen as balanced and harmonious.

4. In astrology, 11 is linked to visionaries

So let’s recap. Intuition and Enlightenment? Balanced and Harmonious? Spiritual insight and linked to visionaries. They MUST be talking about your Fantasy Season!​

By now, you should know what you have: strengths & weaknesses, surplus talent at a given position and injuries to deal with. Basically, “You are what your record says you are”. Now you have to decide how to move forward. Here is an assessment of each team’s playoff chances (note: I will be doing this instead of the usual rankings write-up):​

1. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #1)

Flanders is already in the playoff and is the clear-cut favorite to win it all. ​

​Strengths: Just a solid well-rounded team. Achane (RB3), Nacua (WR4) and Waddle (WR11) give them a solid floor of points each week. The QBs are dependable (Goff/Prescott) if not spectacular.

Weaknesses: The position that was a strength 2 weeks ago now looks like a weakness. TE4 Tucker Kraft went out with a season ending injury, thrusting the up and down Brock Bowers into the everyday lineup.

​Ways to improve: Just roll with what you have here. There is enough talent to get through a long playoff run.

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)
​
The point total still isn’t among the elite, but the 7 wins looks like it will be good enough for the #2 seed. Kahn in 2nd place is not scaring anyone and Stick Rock can’t seem to put together consecutive wins.

Strengths: Even with the Jayden Daniels injury, the QBs are elite. Jahmyr Gibbs (RB4) has been great and TreVeyon Henderson might be living up to the preseason hype.

Weaknesses: The WRs were suppose to be good this year, but have not been healthy or consistent. Also, in the year where everyone has an elite TE, Pete is rolling with Hockenson or Kincaid every week.

Ways to improve: Maybe use some of the RB depth to improve the TE position.

3. Dark Helmet (Last Week #3)​
​
Helmet’s scorching stretch ended this week as they only managed to score 116 points. They are still in a strong position to capture one of the wild card spots, but the teams behind him made up significant ground this week.

Strengths: Three top -10 RBs in Barkley, Javonte Williams and James Cook with the TE1 Trey McBride and a career resurgent year from Davante Adams (WR7).

Weaknesses: Flex.

Ways to Improve: This roster looks good to go. Hopefully Rashee Rice or Ricky Pearsall can rebound from injury/suspension and do damage in the playoffs

4. Stick Rock (Last Week #4)​​

Stick Rock has pushed all his chips in the middle and has gone all-in with the Malik Nabers trade. Hopefully the Flacco/Burrow, KWIII and George Pickens additions can help them out of their month-long slump.

Strengths: All-World RB Jonathan Taylor (RB1) is carrying this team at the moment. The WRs look strong after the trade as Pickens-Egbuka-Wilson provide a formidable trio. Any trade that puts the inconsistent Jordan Love on the bench has to be a positive.

Weaknesses: Maybe a more reliable RB2 behind Taylor.

Ways to Improve: Use your newly acquired RB (KWIII) and one of your WRs (Wilson) to get an upgrade at the RB2 spot.

Playoff Chances - 60%

5. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #5)

Bandits won the battle but lost the war this week. They did come away with their 4th win of the season, but only scored 132 points in the process. Wins and losses do not matter, high scoring does.

Strengths: The RBs are amazing with CMC (RB2) and Bijan (RB5) leading the way. QB Drake Maye (QB1) might have been the steal of the draft.

Weaknesses: The WRs are inconsistent and the TE’s are not very good.

Ways to Improve: Sit tight and ride with what you have. Any trade to address a weakness will create a problem somewhere else. There should be enough talent here to make a legitimate run to the playoffs.

6. Milford Football Team (Last Week #7)​​​

Like father, like son. Just when it looked like they might go on a roll, CJ came up with this giant turd with their 119-point showing in Week 10.

Strengths: The QBs are great with Josh Allen (QB5) and Daniel Jones (QB6) providing plenty of scoring each week. The RBs are solid with Ashton Jeanty (RB13) and Josh Jacobs (RB6).

Weaknesses: Unfortunately, the WR play has been abysmal. AJ Brown is the 40th ranked WR this year and Tee Higgins has his ceiling capped playing alongside Jamarr Chase each week.

Ways to Improve: Give your cousin Rocky a call and see if he can trade a WR for one of your RBs.

Playoff Chances (35%)

7. Ghostbusters (Last Week #6)

Ghostbusters have put up the White Flag on this disappointing season. The team could never get started and the 2 Keeper QBs played a combined 6 games this year.

Strengths: Has the vision to understand this is not their year and made a trade that will give them a trio of Receivers Nabers/Chase/St Brown to start next year’s draft.

Weaknesses: Gives other team managers too much credit when preparing for the draft.

Ways to Improve: Use Dan’s auto-draft strategy for the 2026 season.

Playoff Chances (10%)

8. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)​

​Look who put up a bunch of points again this week! JST is barely hanging on around the outskirts of contention with his 154 point outburst in Week 10.

​​Strengths: QBs - This team has three top 8 player at he position. Unfortunately you can only play two. JSN (WR1) has also had that breakout season everyone has been waiting for.

Weaknesses: RB and WR depth.

Ways to Improve: Trade one of the QBs for some WR and RB help for the stretch run. You can still make the playoffs, Be Bold!

​Playoff Chances 15%

9. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #9)

One step up and two steps back. Jared was unable to build on his week 9 momentum and manages to score just 128. points this week, all but ending his faint playoff hopes.

Strengths: There is just a lot of okay talent throughout the roster, but no stud to depend on every week. The QB situation in Minnesota has killed any elite value Justin Jefferson had. Quinshon Judkins and Caleb Williams have had nice seasons, but I am not sure if it rises to the level where you can keep them for next year.

Weaknesses: As mentioned above, this is a solid team with no game-breakers to give them consistent scoring each week..

Ways to Improve: Package up 2 or 3 of the young guys that can help a contender now for a legitimate keeper for next year. Would Craig take Judkins, Odunze and Caleb Willimas for CMC and McConkey?

Playoff Chances - 5%

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #10)​​

Man, Jim keeps winning and I am not sure it’s for his own good. Kahn has been last in points since the 3rd week of the season, but scheduling luck has them a game out of the #2 seed. Even if they make the playoffs, how far could they expect to go in our 2-week per matchup format? All year long, it was expected that Jim would be out of it and make the trade for Nabers. Now a playoff spot is the only thing left to dream for.

Strengths: Drake London (WR6) and Rico Dowdle (RB9) have been awesome this year.

Weaknesses: Top-tier talent. Outside of London, I don’t see anyone worth keeping on this roster.

Ways to Improve: If you fall 2 games behind MKBA, scramble to aggregate a few players into someone that can help you next year.

Playoff Chances 15%

We went with Count von Count above to help those not good with numbers to tell them this is indeed Week 10 of our Fantasy Football season! I keep stressing that the races are closer than they seem and 8 teams have a legitimate shot to make the playoffs. The key is having Stick Rock win the Patrick Division and Knock MKBA out of the #2 seed. That would tighten up the wild card race significantly.

​​With that in mind, I am going to dust off and update a LM Note I wrote last year that compared the standings after 9 games to where each of those teams finished in the final standings. ​​​

In each of the last 4 years:

• Three of the top 4 teams have advanced to the players.

• One team has jumped from being in either the 5th or 6th slot to make the playoffs.

• Only once has the #1 Seed not made the playoffs (69 Olds in 2021).

• The #1 seed after 9 weeks has won one championship (MKBA 2024).

• A team outside the top 4 has won the championship once (MFT #5 in 2023)

• The last 4 Champions have been ranked as follows after 9 Games: 2024 MKBA (#1), 2023 MFT (#5), 2022 Stick Rock (#3), 2021 Springfield Flanders (#4)

​Ok, so what does that tell us? Probably nothing due to the small sample size. But if you are thinking you still have a chance and you are in 8th through 10th in our rankings, you might want to take another look at your roster and start positioning yourself for 2026. And if you are comfortably leading your division? There is always work to be done. I say it every year. The team that dominates early, seldom dominates at the end (I’m looking at you, Rocky.)

Ok, enough with the history lesson. Now on to our 2025 Week 10 Rankings:

1. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #1)

​One of the earliest clinches we have seen in KAOS, Flanders is going to the playoffs locked into a #1 or 2 seed. Marvin Harrison awoke just in time to give them a win over the Ghostbusters and a 4 game lead in the division with 4 weeks to go.

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)

Just when it look like MKBA was going to go on a roll, Jayden Daniels dislocates his elbow. Peter still leads the division by a game over Kahn and 2 games over Stick Rock, but he will likely need to win the division to get in as his points total ranks just 7th in the league.

3. Dark Helmet (Last Week #4)​
​
Helmet is on FIRE, scoring ​540 points over the last 3 weeks for a 180 pts/game average. The Auto-draft king is looking to make his second consecutive playoff appearance, but he will have to go through the wild card route to get there.

4. Stick Rock (Last Week #3)​​

And here we have the anti-helmet. Flying high across the season’s first 7 weeks, Rock has only scored 234 points over the last 2 weeks (117 pts/game avg.) Could they be going a third consecutive season to miss the playoffs after leading the league through the first 2 months?

5. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #7)

Bandits rode a high-scoring Week 9 to put them on the steps of playoff contention. They currently find themselves just 11 points out of the final playoff spot.

6. Ghostbusters (Last Week #5)

Their long-shot chances to contend for a division title ended this week in a narrow defeat to Flanders. This team has not been very good for most of the season, but still find themselves just 31 points out of the 4th playoff spot.

7. Milford Football Team (Last Week #6)​​​

Another team that has under-whelmed for most of the season but has managed to stick around on the outskirts of contention is MFT. They’ll need to hope that Week 9 was just a blip on the radar for Daniel Jones. If DJ reverts to his NY Giants ways, MFT might need to make a change.

8. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)​

​An up and down regular season looks to be on the downswing again as JST manages only 111 points in his match-up against Kahn. John might need to start planning for next year as his team now finds themselves 82 points out of a playoff spot.

9. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #9)

The Tomlins had a big week scoring 166 points against Helmet, but it may be too little/too late. They find themselves 111 points out of the playoffs. But at least Justin Jefferson scored his first TD since... WEEK 1! I guess coach Kevin O’Connell cannot make just anyone a star QB.

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #10)​​

I know Jim is “only” one game out of first place, but is that any reason to get cocky? Kahn won their week 9 matchup against MFT 169-111 despite not playing a QB1! (Baker Mayfield was on the bye and Michael Pennix STILL was not good enough to trust in the starting lineup. Even though Jim is last in the league in scoring, he still has a very real shot of making the playoffs. As mentioned, he is just one-game bak of MKBA and is 2-0 against them this year.

Okay, I am tired with the subtle hints and gentle prodding. Eight teams have a legitimate shot at a championship this year and the other two are hanging around just close enough that I can’t say they’re dead (although we do have a transplant team standing by ready to harvest their organs.)

But... each of the eight contenders have flaws in their lineup that can only be addressed by making a trade. You know, I can actually sense everyone’s sphincter tightening up just reading about the thought of making a trade. But you all need to stop being scared to death of doing something. Even worse, you aren’t even capable of rejecting a trade offer that is made to you. We all laugh at Rocky because his typical trade offer consists of offering a guy he just grabbed off the waiver wire for the guy you drafted in the first round. But you know what? That’s the only trade offer that ever gets accepted in this league... massive overpays.

​So with that all being said, I am going to make it easy for you. We are heading into Week 9 and I am overdue for a trade column anyway. Here is a brief rundown of what each team’s needs are and what they can offer in return.

​Springfield Flanders

- Needs RB

- Could offer Brock Bowers or Tucker Kraft. This team has been the most consistent (and luckiest) team in the league this year, but the RBs after Achane could be a problem. Use a TE to get an RB2.

​Mel Kipers Best Available

- Needs Flex/TE

- Could offer Jaxson Dart or Jayden Daniels. Do you really need 3 QBs. Use one to get a major upgrade in the receiving department.

Stick Rock

- Needs: QB/WR

- Could offer Jake Ferguson or George Kittle. The QBs (Herbert and Love) are starting to come around, but a more consistent option could be helpful. The WRs are also banged up so maybe a Top 25 WR could help keep them in the playoff race.

​Dark Helmet

- Needs: QB/DST

- Could offer:RBS! Saquon Barkley, Javonte Williams, James Cook, Chuba Hubbard and Rachaad White are all solid options. Use one to get a QB2. Also throw in a D/ST as Dan has ZERO POINTS from that slot in the lineup for the entire year.

Black Ghostbusters

- Needs: QB/RB

- Could offer: WRs. Amon Ra St Brown, Jamarr Chase and George Pickens are all in the Top 5. I’d be willing to part with one of them for a QB1. Harold Fanarin has been a top 5 TE over the last month while Troy Franklin is emerging as a solid Flex option.

​Milford Football Team

- Needs WR

- Could offer one of the RB’s he stockpiled. Josh Jacobs, Ashton Jeanty, Kimani Vidal, Aaron Jones and RJ Harvey would be enough to get a starting caliber Receiver.

Skoal Bandits

- Needs WR/TE

- Could offer a Running Back. CMC can get you a top 3 WR and Montgomery could bring back a top 25 WR. Also, the Bandits are one of the few teams that lack a reliable Tight End.

John’s Scary Team

- Needs RB

- Could offer one of his 3 QBs. Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts and Matthew Stafford are having great seasons, but you only need two. Swing big by offering Hurts or Mahomes, or small… Matthew Stafford. He should get you a Top 15 RB in return.

​Peeping Tomlins

- Needs QB

- Could offer an RB like Judkins or Irving for a Top 10 QB. Judkins for Stafford would make a lot of sense.

​Wrath of Kahn - (editors note: Jim is the only one exempt from my diatribe above. He is always open for a trade that can help both teams.)

- Needs QB

- Could offer some of his RB Depth (Henry/Brown/Dowdle/Hampton/Pollard) for a decent QB1 to pair with Baker Mayfield.

​​Flanders stay atop the Adams Division this week with a 150.04-134.92 victory over John’s Scary Team. Tucker Kraft (33.3), CJ Stroud (25.72) and Jaylen Waddle (22.9) led them to their league leading 7th win of the season.

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)​

The team everyone thought would be the best team in the league has turned out to be the luckiest. Despite having only the 7th highest point total, they are our # 2 seed by virtue of their 5-3 record in a weak Patrick Division. Jaxson Dart (21.42), Tyler Huntley (18.74) - REALLY???? Tyler Huntley is the 2nd highest scoring player on a division leading team??? Is it uncomfortable sitting down to watch a game with that horseshoe up your ass each week? No - I’m not bitter. CeeDee Lamb added another 14.6 points as the rest of the roster only managed 39 points.

3. Stick Rock (Last Week #3)

Here is the guy who has a legit gripe with MKBA’s record. Stick Rock has scored 101 points more than them but trails them by a game in the standings. Jonathan Taylor (40.4), Jordan Love (34.3) and Justin Herbert (31.28) combined to outscore MKBA this week. Too bad rock played Dark Helmet and lost.

4. Dark Helmet (Last Week #4)

​​​Ok. It’s time we all stopped mocking Dan’s draft preparation and maybe think about going the auto-draft route. Dan followed up last week’s 192-point outburst with a 188-point Week 9. James Cook III (38.6), Saquon Barkley (36.4) and Bo Nix (31.78) have pushed Dan’s team to the 2nd highest point total in the league.

5. Ghostbusters (Last Week #7)

Hey, look. Ghostbusters won their first game in a month. Fortunately, they are scoring at a reasonable clip. Breece Hall (35.86) had the same amount of passing TDs as his QB2 (one). Joe Flacco (28.32) may have stabilized a dire QB situation while Troy Franklin (26.9) could be another waiver wire steal for a team that leads the league in WR scoring.

6. Milford Football Team (Last Week #6)​​​

MFT had a solid week and scored just enough to beat dear old dad by 3 points. Daniel Jones (29.18) continues to play at an MVP candidate pace, even outscoring Josh Allen (26.22) this week. Kimani Vidal (20.7) has looked good filling in for the injured Chargers RBs. Omarion Hampton is still not close to returning, so keep riding that gravy train.

7. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #5)

Another game and another loss for the 2-6 Bandits. The team scores at a decent enough clip to keep them in the playoff race but their opponents score an average of 152 points/week which makes winning tough. Drake Maye (32.28), Michael Pittman (23.5), and Mac Jones (22.02) did just enough to hand the Bandits their sixth loss of the year.

8. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)​

​It’s Halloween, so let’s see what makes John’s team so scary. Could it be he started two wide receivers this week that combined for zero points (Jerry Jeudy/Hollywood Brown)? It’s not like he could have used that scoring as he loses by 16 points to Flanders this week. Speaking of Halloween, it’s obvious that The Tomlins are going dressed as Wrath of Kahn. For the 2nd week in a row and the 3rd time this season, they failed to crack 100-points. Rome Odunze (18.4), DJ Metcalf (16.5) and Justin Jefferson (14.4) led (?) an otherwise lackluster effort as they lose to league powerhouse Wrath of Kahn 107-94.

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #10)​​

Yup. Kahn scored 107 points this week and won and the Bandits are jealous. Justin Fields rose form the ashes to score 22.86 points. Derrick Henry (19.1) and waiver wire prize Oronde Gadsden (18.7) did just enough to get the win as the rest of Kahn’s lineup managed only 47 points.

We have just passed the midway point of the season and it looks like we have our most competitive season yet. The 8th place team is within 34 points of the playoffs and the Divisions are still up for grabs, although Flanders does have a 2.5 game lead in the Adams Division (tiebreakers accounted for). MKBA leads the Patrick by a game while Stick Rock has a 71-point cushion in the Wild Card race. ​

​What does all that mean? Basically everyone still has a shot at the playoffs 7 weeks in. So tell me. What are you going to do about it? There are some teams here that have a chance to make their first playoff appearance in years (I’m looking at you Skoal Bandits and Peeping Tomlins.) MFT has a chance to redeem their pathetic title defense of 2024 with a new championship run in 2025. Flanders can push through being a top-4 team over the last 3 seasons and win his 1st championship since 2021. 1. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #1)

Flanders wins again in Week 7 to stay atop our polls, but luck may have had a little something to do with it. Despite having only the 7th highest score of the week, ​their 19 points was enough to defeat MFT 139-118. Dak Prescott (30.26), Chris Olave (26.8) and NE D/ST (20) provided jus enough scoring for the victory. You know, when your scoring leaders are a washed Olave and a D/ST, this might be your year.

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)

MKBA has entered into their not-fucking-around-anymore portion of their schedule. Even with the injuries piling up (QBs Lamarr Jackson and Jayden Daniels) , they still managed to hang over 200 points on the Bandits. Jahmyr Gibbs (39.8), Devontae Smith (35.3) and Jaxson Dart (36.42) led the way in this one.

3. Stick Rock (Last Week #3)​​

Stick Rock got back to scoring points this week as he hammered Wrath of Kahn 169-94. Jonathan Taylor (34.2), Justin Herbert (33.9) and Keenan Allen (28.9) were his high scorers for the week as they raise their league-high point total to 1,027.92.

4. Dark Helmet (Last Week #9)

Helmet’s players combined for SIXTEEN TOUCHDOWNS in his week 7 match-up against the Ghostbuster. That is not a typo, SIXTEEN!. The QBs had 6, the RBs rushed for 3 and the pass catchers added 7 more. I’ll do the math for you. 96 of Helmets points this week were generated by TDs. That would have been enough to beat Wrath of Kahn this week before adding in yardage and receptions!

5. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #6)

The Bandits got back to losing this week, but at least they keep scoring. 158 points will win most weeks, but unfortunately he was up against MKBA’s 201 point outing. CMC (40.1), Drake Maye (27) and Bijan Robinson (21) played well in defeat.

6. Milford Football Team (Last Week #4)

Milford Football Team had their Super Bowl moment last week when they hung 169 points on the Ghostbusters. This week it was back to not scoring as they only managed to put up 118 points. AJ Brown (28), Daniel Jones (26) and Josh Jacobs (18.8) led an otherwise lethargic attack in their Week 7 loss to Flanders, 139-118.

7. Ghostbusters (Last Week #7)

The Ghostbusters are making a habit out of getting their asses stomped by teams experiencing their season high point totals against them. This week it was Helmet’s turn. Jamarr Chase (38.1) got things off to a fast start on Thursday, while Amon Ra St Brown (20.6) and Trevor Lawrence (19.64) kept the game close late on Sunday. But Bo Nix’s 38-point 4th qtr outburst against the Giants sent them to another one-sided loss.

8. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)

After a slow start to the season, JST is starting to gain momentum and now find themselves just 34 points out of the last playoff spot. This week’s 156-point effort was led by Matthew Stafford (37), Jalen Hurts (31.64) and JSN (26.3). In a league where a lot of teams are having trouble finding one decent QB, this team has 3. A trade of one of the excess QB’s could help John with a 2nd half playoff push.

9. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #5)

Domestic abuser Quinshon Judkins had 28.4 points this week. The rest of the lineup had 54. Find a good lawyer to keep that guy out of prison because you are going to need him.

Flanders kept rolling this week with a big victory over Peeping Tomlins that give them sole position of 1st Place in the Adams Division. De’Von Achane (34.0), Dak Prescott (28.34) and Jared Goff (20.82) led them to the 144 - 124 victory. ​​

2. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #4)

The Patrick Division leaders also matched-up this week in a less impressive showing to determine 1st place. MKBA score just enough points to eke out a 104-99 victory over Stick Rock. Jayden Daniels (27.64) Jaxson Dart (25.6) and Tre Tucker (12) did just enough to come away with the victory.

3. Stick Rock (Last Week #2)​​

Stick Rock might finally be succumbing to all the injuries. This week, Emeka Egbuka and Garrett Wilson joined George Kittle and Malik Nabers on the injured list. Jonathan Taylor (24.7), Justin Herbert (22.76) and Jordan Love (16.96) kept things close early, but MKBA’s big Monday Night handed Rocky the narrow defeat.

The Tomlin’s fell out of first place in the division with this week’s loss to Flanders. Caleb Williams (22.88), Wandale Robinson (20.4) and DJ Metcalf (19.5) played well, but shockingly the Browns stack of Quishon Judkins and Dillon Gabriel combined for 12.44. Who saw that coming? Oh - anyone with two eyes and a brain.

6. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #9)

Hey, look! Bandits won another game. That brings his total on the season up to ...two. This team is still top-heavy as Bijan Robinson (38.8), Drake Maye (34.24) and CMC (24.1) accounted for over 60% of the scoring. The WRs are definitely going to need an upgrade if they want to challenge for a playoff spot this year.

7. Ghostbusters (Last Week #5)

The Ghostbusters got steamrolled again this week as their scheduling luck has gone in the other direction for the 2nd week in a row. George Pickens (31.8), Jamar Chase (25.1) and Trevor Lawrence (23.22) played well in defeat.

8. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #10)

JST’s record against his dad: 2-0. JST’s record against everyone else 0-4. If he could play Dark Helmet every week, he would be League Champion! JSN (32.2), DeAndre Swift (28.5) and Jalen Hurts (22.62) led John to his 2nd victory of the year. ​​​​​

9. Dark Helmet (Last Week #8)

​He may be in 9th place in our rankings, but he is the #1 Dad in the Hart household. And that’s not just a saying on the mug he got for Fathers’ Day. Dan slips again this week in the rankings after a 104-point showing in week 6. Sam Darnold (25), Trey McBride (21.2) and Bo Nix (15.36) played well. The rest of the team combined for 43 points and did not.

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #6)​​

Wrath of Kahn plummets to the bottom of the rankings this week as we shift towards playoff seedings to determine each teams position. Kahn is ranked 10th based on his 123.79 pts/game average. Rico Dowdle (34.9), Drake London (31.8) and Baker Mayfield (23.64) had big weeks in a losing effort.

A couple of close games this week has shaken up the standings in the Adams Division. In the first close game we had division leaders Peeping Tomlins locked into a tight contest against the Ghostbusters. The game was going back and forth late in Sunday Afternoon window when things started to get whacky. How weird was it?

• Ghostbusters looked like they would be in control until The AZ D-ST intercepted a pass by Cam Ward and then promptly fumbled the ball, giving the Titans a TD. A 6-point swing.

• Then, with Jamar Chase looking to do some damage in garbage time against the Vikings, Jake Browning (Jared’s QB) gets lost in his own endzone and is sacked for the safety. Jared’s D-ST gets 3 points for the sack/safety combo and no points for Chase.

• Needing a 32-point game from Trevor Lawrence on MNF for the win, Ghostbusters get 34 points! Well, they would have had 34 points if T-Law did not turn the ball over 3 times for -6 points. Jared Wins and stays in a tie for the Division.

​The other divisional matchup was much closer. Dark Helmet held a 6-point lead in his tussle versus Springfield Flanders with two minutes to go. Glenn had Brenton Strange on the sidelines due to injury and Travis Ettienne not being utilized in the two-minute offense. All hope was lost. Until... The Jaguars go on a drive and punch it into the endzone with :20 seconds remaining, as T-Law avoids a sack and stumbles over the goal line. Dan loses the 1-point for the sack and the TD lowers the Chiefs D-ST score by 4 points. A 5-point swing that gives Flanders the 147.8-147.22 victory.

​Why did I go through these games in such detail? Because I want to illustrate how important it is to keep making changes to your team around the margins. Every point counts, so you should be looking for any advantage you can get. Hit the waiver wire to get an favorable D-ST matchups. Dark Helmet has lost 3 games this year due to his defense. If a guy isn’t producing, put him on your bench. At most, each team should have about 3-4 “must-start” players on their rosters. After that, lineup decisions should be based on that week’s matchups.

As mentioned above, Flanders squeaks this one out to go to 4-1 on the season. The QBs Prescott (36.28) and Goff (26.12) put up a combined 62.4 points with Puka Nacua chipping in another 24.5. If Brock Bowers can ever get going, this would be the team to beat this year.

2. Stick Rock (Last Week #2)

Stick Rock is back to their high-scoring ways after a two week hiatus. This week they put up 182.48 points on poor Uncle Craig. Jonathan Taylor (31.6), Emeka Egbuka (31.3) and Tua (28.74) helped Rock roll to the 48-point victory.

3. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #3)

The Tomlins win a big October game against division rival Ghostbusters. It started early for them as Kyren Williams put up 31.1 points on Thursday Night. Add that to Jake Browning’s 26.14 and Sam LaPorta’s 20.1 on Sunday Afternoon gives them the close win.

4. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #7)

MKBA continues to piece it together as they put up an impressive victory over JST, 152.22 - 136.02. Forced to play this one without Lamar Jackson, The Colts D-ST (20.0), Jaxson Dart (19.58) and Devonta Smith (19.4) did just enough to secure the victory. (Hmm... A D/ST, a waiver wire QB and a WR3 were the leading scorings. What happened to the MKBA we were all expecting this year?)

5. Ghostbusters (Last Week #4)

Ghostbusters lost a tough one and they cannot blame the QBs this week. I can blame other people’s QBs (I am looking at you, Jake Browning) But V-Law (28.24) played well this week and Kyler Murray was...ok?. Jamar Chase (31) and Breece Hall (18.5) also played well in defeat.

6. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #6)

​​Big week for Jimmy, but they are still in last place in points scored. How bad of a start did this team get off to? Rico Dowdle (35.4), Baker Mayfield (30.66) and Justin Fields (29.92) combined for 96 points. Why do we bother doing any pre-draft analysis?

7. Milford Football Team (Last Week #5)

MFT saw their modest 1-game winning streak come to an abrupt halt. Deebo Samuel (23.6), Daniel Jones (20.68) and Josh Allen (23.42) played well, but the Seahwaks -9 points on D-ST was a killer.

8. Dark Helmet (Last Week #8)

MNF heartbreak aside, Helmet had a solid week despite the loss. Sam Darnold (35.64), Javonte Williams (27.9) and Bo Nix (19.88) combined for 84 points. The rest of the lineup only managed 63. On the plus side, at least the D-ST scored positive points for the first time this season! Coming into the game, they had totaled negative 5 points for the year. That total has now sky-rocketed to negative one point!

9. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #9)

CMC (27.9) was great again and Theo Johnson (21.3) caught two first half TD’s. David Montgomery (20.22) passed for a TD. Spencer Rattler looked good (19.2). And... That’s it. The rest of the lineup combined for 45 points. This team is still in the hunt as they are only 33 points out of a playoff spot, but they need to figure out things quickly as the season is starting to slip away.

10. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #10)

The newcomer in this league is struggling to keep it together. They are 1-4, but like the Bandits are still within spitting distance of the wild card playoff spot trailing by only 45 points. The QB’s were awesome again, with Jalen Hurts (23.5) and Patrick Mahomes (28.72) providing a solid scoring floor. JSN is looking like the stud WR people have been predicting for the last 3 seasons and Travis Kelce (19) is showing signs of life, but the RBs are killing this team (11 combined points this week). You have waiver wire priority for being in last place. Use it to your advantage to upgrade the position.

We are one month into the season and it’s time to anoint a team as the one to beat. (Checks league standings and point totals) Hmm...Seems fairly balanced. Stick Rock looked like that team after two weeks, but that was before Malik Nabers blew out his ACL. What about preseason favorite MKBA? They failed to crack 100 this week and fell to 2-2 while losing Tyreke Hill to a dislocated knee/ACL injury. Wrath of Kahn and John’s Scary Team looked like they would be battling out for the first pick in the 2026 draft, but both teams had impressive point totals in Week 4.

Not only do teams need to worry about replacing injured players in their lineups, but Week 5 is also the beginning of Bye Weeks. This is where we’ll see some separation in the standings as deeper teams are better positioned to replace starters with quality players.

This year appears to be wide open. And that means every team should be hitting the waiver wire and exploring trade possibilities to improve their team. If it’s been a while since you won the championship or if you have never won before, this could be your year. Do not let this opportunity slip away. It’s time to part with those draft day busts or turn some of those assets on your bench into a player you can use in your starting lineup. Don’t be timid. Only the bold win Titles.

As good as they looked the first 2 weeks, Rock has looked just as bad in Weeks 3 & 4. They drop to #2 based on their league leading point total and 1st Place in the division, but they need to make some changes to avoid tumbling further down the rankings. Jordan Love (32.26), Emeka Egbuka (22.1) and Garrett Wilson 20.2) led the way in this one.​​​​

3. Peeping Tomlin’s (Last Week #4)

The Tomlins improved to 3-1 this week in a game that went down to the last play on Sunday afternoon. Bucky Irving (27.5), Carson Wentz(25.2) and Justin Jefferson (22.6) provided just enough scoring to come away with the win.

4. Ghostbusters (Last Week #5)

In a game that ended up being much closer than it should have been, The Ghostbuster came away with a 4-pt victory as they withstood a furious comeback attempt led by Bo Nix on Monday Night. Amon Ra St Brown (26.0), Quentin Johnston (23.8) and Kyler Murray (20.1) gave the Ghostbusters the slim 142-137 victory over Helmet.

5. Milford Football Team (Last Week #8)

MFT has already surpassed their win total from all of 2024, and it’s not even October yet! Ashton Jeanty (36.5), Josh Jacobs (31.7) and Josh Allen (28.86) led the point Tsunami this week as they rolled to an easy victory over cousin Rocky.

6. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #10)

Kahn got back to winning for the first time in 3 weeks as Omarion Hampton (30.5), Drake London (25.0) and Baker Mayfield (24.86) led them to victory over the reigning KAOS champions, 144-91. Kahn gets the impressive victory to get themselves into a 3-way tie atop the division.

7. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #3)

This is why we play the games. MKBA was the undisputed #1 ranked team before the season starts, but injuries (Jayden Daniels/Tyreke Hill) and ineffective rookies (Travis Hunter/Treyvon Henderson/Jaydon Blue) has them reeling without a ton of answers on their bench. Marcus Mariotta (20.24), Jahmyr Gibbs (17.7) and Cam Skateboo (13) led an otherwise listless week 4 attack.

8. Dark Helmet (Last Week #6)

Helmet looked dead in the water on Monday Night as they trailed the Ghostbusters 135-107. Bo Nix would have to outscore Ja’Marr Chase by 28 points for the win. And... Bo Nix scored 29.74 while Chase managed just 7.3 points and the improbable MNF comeback stalled out 5 points short. James Cook (23.5) and Sam Darnold (18.08) helped keep the game close heading into Monday. But the 49er-D/ST’s (-3 points) cost Helmet the game. Little known fact. Dan’s D/ST has combined for -5 points over the first month of the season. Translation: start leaving that spot blank in your lineup.

9. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #7)

Does everyone remember the great draft the Bandits had? Yeah, neither do I. Brock Purdy (21.66), Drake Maye (27.22), CMC (26.1) and Bijan Robinson (28.1) combined for 103 points. The other 5 spots in the lineup combined for 19.4. You need more than just a few great players to win consistently. Roster depth is important to ensure a high floor point total each week.

10. John’s Scary Team (Last Week #8)

JST came within two minutes from leveling their record to 2-2, but a late Q4 catch sent them to a narrow defeat vs the Tomlins. Patrick Mahomes (35.3), Jalen Hurts (23.4) and Khalil Shakir (19.9) played well in the loss.

Week 3 looked a lot like Weeks 1 and 2. It combined the first week's low scores and added in all the Week 2 injuries. How bad was it? RBs Najee Harris and James Conner look to have significant injuries, while pass catchers. CeeDee Lamb , Terry McLaurin, Mike Evans, and Colston Loveland exited their games early.

​Hopefully, each team has enough reinforcements on their benches to cover those absences. But in case you don't, how about making a trade? I know, I know. It's tough to get a deal done in this league, but it is not impossible. Over the last 4 years, we have seen 8 teams involved in 13 trades. And do you know what the amazing thing is? All but one of those trades involved Wrath of Kahn, Stick Rock or Ghostbusters. That means the other 7 teams managed to make 1 trade over the last 4 years! Now on to our Week 4 Rankings:

1. Stick Rock (Last Week #1)

A tough week for the #1 Ranked team as they ran into a buzzsaw against cousin Jared. There was a moment late Sunday where he still had hopes of a Sunday Night miracle, but Malik Nabers (3.3) 2 reception no-show doomed them. Jonathan Taylor (35.8) continued his scorching start to the season while Garrett Wilson (24.4) and Keenan Allen (19.5) kept the game close. (Keenan Allen??? What year is this?)​​​​

2. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #2)

​​​​Flanders gave the Ghostbusters their first (and only) regular season loss last year in Week 3, so Ghostbusters returned the favor this year as Glenn loses a low-scoring matchup. Puka Nacua (22.8), De'Von Achane (16.1) and Jared Goff (14.68) gave them a chance, but the rest of the lineup combined for only 52 points.

3. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #4)

Look who's getting frisky. Last year's champion is starting to look like the team that dominated the league in 2024. Marcus Mariota (22.28), Jahmyr Gibbs (26.9) and Lamar Jackson ( 33.02 ) scored enough to make up for CeeDee Lamb's early injury exit.

4. Peeping Tomlin's (Last Week #7)

The Tomlin's had a huge week despite the QB waiver wire debacle of grabbing Jake Browning and inserting him and his 7.9 points into his starting lineup. Caleb Williams (38.5) provided the scoring of 2 QBs and Nico Collins chipped in another 24.4. Who would have guessed that the Williams/Odunze stack would outperform the JJ McCarthy/Justin Jefferson stack through 3 weeks.

5. Ghostbusters (Last Week #6)

Ghostbusters continue to put the Week 1 disaster behind them with a victory over divisional rival Flanders. Jordan Mason (24) KWIII (18) and Amon Ra St Brown (20.7) helped them to the win and a 1st place tie in the division. [Editors Note: This team needs a QB. I can trade Kyler Murray and Amon Ra St Brown for a legitimate QB upgrade for anyone who has the balls to make a blockbuster trade.]​​

6. Dark Helmet (Last Week #3)

What a great dad Dan is. Needing just 5 points from the Ravens D/ST and Zay Flowers for the victory on Monday Night, the D/ST shit the bed and put up -10 points. Combine that with the Zay Flowers 3.3 point turd-fest and Dan loses to give John the win. James Cook (21.8) , played well but the rest of the team provided no support leading to the 11-point loss.

7. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #9)

The Bandits pick up there first win of the season with a low-scoring victory over Wrath of Kahn. Drake Maye (23.22), CMC (24) and Bijan Robinson (16.1) led the way. The rest of the team combined for 52 points. They'll have to fix the WR/Flex spots if they want to stay in contention this year. Making David Montgomery a permanent fixture in the lineup would go a long to remedying that.

8. Milford Football Team (Last Week #5)

MFT got off to a hot start on Thursday as Josh Allen went for 29.02 points, but AJ Brown (22.9) and Daniel Jones (17.82) are the only players who bothered showing up on Sunday. Seattle D/ST chipped in 17 points but the rest of the lineup only managed to score 38 points. Hmmm. 2 more rookies in the lineup (Jeanty/McMillan) off to slow starts. Look, I understand drafting rookie players. It is the sure way to acquire talent that can be future keeper picks. BUT... You don't have to put them in your lineups every week. Pick your spots and play them in beneficial match ups. It takes time to learn how to play in the NFL. Give those kids a chance to grow.

9. John's Scary Team (Last Week #10)

JST is on the board with their first KAOS win. in a game that looked all but over going into MNF, dear old dad rolled over for son #1 to give John the 111-100 victory. Jalen Hurts (35.04), JSN (20.6) and Patrick Mahomes (15.16) performed well, but the rest of the team managed only 41 points. Most weeks that would add up to a loss, but not this time. Enjoy the victory!

10. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #8)

​​Wrath needed a big game from his three players on MNF if they hoped to win their matchup and after one quarter, it looked like he would get it. Derrick Henry and Mike Andrews scored Q1 TDs and Kahn was on his way. But after a 21-pt 1st Quarter, his guys managed only 22 more points the rest of the way. Kahn loses. Baker Mayfield (19.72) and Mike Andrews (27.1) played well in defeat.

Pencils down and pass your exams forward. It's time to be graded on your 2025 Draft! Before the evaluation begins, I would like to remind everyone how the rankings were tabulated:

• The rankings are based on the analysis from three different fantasy sites: Fantasy Pros, Rotowire and ESPN. I just take the average of those rankings to determine each team’s value.

• These ratings will change throughout the season. The team you draft is never going to be the one you finish with. Injuries, trades, breakout performances and player regression happen to all of us. Keep combing the waiver wires to strengthen the team you drafted throughout the season.

• I thought I would try something new this year and allow teams to trade players from their own rosters for players on opposing teams’ rosters. Oh, wait. I have just been told that trades always have been allowed in our league but managers have lacked the testicular fortitude to attempt one.

1 . Mel Kipers Best Available​​​​

This team is looking like it will pickup right where it left off last year. Starting with dual QB threats Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels this is easily the deepest team in the league.

Strengths: QB/RB/WR

Weakness: none.

Comments: As long as everyone stays healthy, this team will coast into the playoffs.

2. Skoal Bandits

​​​​Throwing back everyone except Bijan Robinson paid off big time for the Bandits. A bit of a gamble going with CMC in the 3rd round. He has the potential to make or break this team that is fielding their best roster in years.

Strengths: RB/Starters

Weakness: QB/Bench

Comments: Other than CMC, The Bandits will need Purdy and Drake Maye to step up this season to win regularly.

3. Ghostbusters
​

A shockingly low-key draft for last year’s runner-up. Safe drafting may have left this team short of any upside potential.

Strengths: QB/WR/Deep starting lineup

Weakness: RB/TE

Comments: Ghostbusters hammered the RB position early and often, but the draft gods did not cooperate. Either Breece Hall or Kenneth Williams III will need to buck the preseason talk of reduced workloads, or a midseason trade for RB help may be needed to save the season.

4. Springfield Flanders

Another solid team up and down the lineup. Glenn went all-in and changed the entire complexion of last year’s playoff squad.

Strengths: TE/D-ST

Weakness: WR/Flex

Comments: This team is solid at every spot in their lineup, but I don’t know who the one or two players are that they can depend on every week to provide scoring. Brock Bowers could be that guy as could Puka Nacua if Stafford can stay on the field.

5. Peeping Tomlin's

The Tomlins had a solid draft, snagging Bucky Irving and Sam LaPorta early. You can never have enough former Ghostbusters on your team.

Strengths: WR/D-ST

Weakness: QB/Bench

Comments: This season will hinge on the QBs. If JJ McCarthy and Caleb Williams can deliver on their promise, this team will contend.

6. Milford Football Team

Still aching from last year’s ass-whoopin’, MFT took a more balanced approach to the 2025 Draft.

Strengths: Flex/QB1/Bench

Weakness: QB2/TE/WR

Comments: Might have waited a little too long to draft that 2nd QB. Danial Jones could negate any bonus having Josh Allen in your lineup could bring.

7. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #8)

​​​Once again, Jimmy has the great big hard-on for Running Backs as evidenced by using 3 of the first 5 draft slots on that position.

Strengths: RB

Weakness: WR/TE

Comments: This is a PPR league and I do not see a lot of receptions here that will give them the consistent scoring each week. Drake London and Matthew Golden look like only players in line to see a lot of targets in 2025. Jordan Mason was a nice pickup in the 12th round and might be a decent trade chip for later in the season.

8. Dark Helmet

​​​​​Last season’s rankings had him 10th, and he made the playoffs. This year he is 8th which means he will probably end up in the championship game.

Strengths: TE/RB

Weakness: QB/WR

Comments: Those are two tough positions to have your weaknesses in. I am less concerned about the QB’s as every year undrafted guys come out of nowhere to crack the top 10. But the lack of Receivers could be difficult to fix in-season.

9. Stick Rock
​​​​

I think the rankings were particularly hard on this squad. There is a lot of talent here with a very high floor for scoring each week.

Strengths: TE/Flex

Weakness: RB/QB

Comments: As mentioned earlier, I think the rankings are off for this team. Herbert and Love have been reliable QB options in the past and Taylor/Conner is a formidable RB duo, not to mention former Ghostbusters.

10. John's Scary Team

Another team where I think the rankings are out of line. The QBs are great and the RB’s are productive with upside. McLaurin may have been a bit of a reach in the 4th round, but he has Top 10 pedigree.

Strengths: QB

Weakness: RB/WR

Comments: If the wheels start to come off early, he could always trade one of the QBs for 2 or 3 players he can plug right into his lineup to save the season.

A great football mind mentioned last week that any preseason ranking needed to be taken with a grain of salt. In case you need a reminder, go back to last week's LM Note. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranked teams all went down in defeat, losing to the 9th, 6th and 7th ranked teams respectively. Before the season starts, projections are the only thing we have to go by. But the games must be played and the players must perform. And the one thing the Week 1 Performances showed us is... The NFL Offenses got off to an incredibly slow start. Last year, the average score for each team was 143.64 pts/game. Compare that to the average score of Week 1 2025 that came in at a paltry 122 points/game, a 21-point reduction! Thats like having one less QB in your lineup (or if you are the Ghostbusters, 2 less QBs).

How bad was it? No team scored over 140 points. Versus Week 1 last year, we had 5 teams score over 140, with 2 of those teams going for over 160 points! I don't expect that trend to continue. This is just the product of most teams not playing their starters during the preseason and the defenses being ahead of the offenses early on. If there is any good news to be told after the first week is that nobody suffered any season-ending injuries. Xavier Worthy and George Kittle came away a little banged up, but both should return in a month or so.

Now on to our rankings:

1. Stick Rock (Last Week #9)
​​​​

Stick Rock was the high scoring team of the week, led by Justin Herbert (33.92), Garrett Wilson (22.5) and Conrad Sutton (18.1). Rocky must be happy with the fast start as last year's team was among the high scorers early on, but still could not win a game due to bad scheduling luck.

2. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #7)

​​​​Kahn wins their first game of 2025 with relative ease. Their QBs got off to a slow start, but an explosive 4th quarter by Baker Mayfield (28.58) and Michael Penix (27.02) saw the two light up the scoreboard for the blowout victory. Derrik Henry chipped in 32 points on Sunday Night for good measure.

3. Milford Football Team (Last Week #6)

​Milford Football Team has already matched their win total from 2024 with their Week 1 victory. The QBs combined for an astounding 74-points! That total would be expected from QB1 Josh Allen (42.76). But Daniel Jones hanging 31.48 points on the Dolphins? Who saw that coming? CJ Needed it as no other player in his lineup scored more than 14 points.

4. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #4)

​​​The anti-QB team this week was Flanders. Their 2 QBs combined for a paltry 20.81 points. Luckily, a solid day up and down the rest of the lineup scored just enough to get them the Week 1 victory. Puka Nacua (23.1), De'Von Achane (16.5) and Marvin Harrison (18.1) did just enough for the win.

5. Peeping Tomlin's (Last Week #5)

​​​​The Tomlins looked like they were going down in defeat late in the 3rd qtr of Monday Night's game as McCarthy and Williams got off to slow starts. But Caleb Willams (26.22), JJ McCarthy (26.22) and Justin Jefferson (14.8) came alive in the 4th qtr to give them the victory.

6. John's Scary Team (Last Week #10)

​​John came very close to winning his first KAOS game, but fell 6-points short of the victory. The QB's (Hurts-24.28 and Mahomes 28.02) were as good as expected, while keeper Jaxon Smith Njigba chipped in 19.4 points. Unfortunately the RBs killed them combining for only 14.3 points.

7. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #1)

​Alert the presses, MKBA will not be going undefeated this season. The early season favorites had trouble getting the offense going in Week 1. Lamar Jackson (33.36), Jayden Daniels (22.12) and CeDee Lamb (18) delivered, but the remainder of the starting lineup combined for only 49-points. Welcome to the frustration of having Tyreke Hill and Devonta Smith in your starting lineup each week.

8. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #2)

​​​​The Bandits may have won the preseason, but Week 1 was an entirely different story. Bijan Robinson (26.4), CMC (23.2) and Brock Purdy (20.78) were awesome. The rest of the lineup (46 points) were not.

9. Dark Helmet (Last Week #8)

​Bo Nix - 8.84 points. Sam Darnold 5.4 points. Yeah, it was that kind of day for Helmet. The trio of Zay Flowers (28.1), James Cook (21.2) and Saquon Barkley (18.1) played well in the loss. Javonte Williams (20.4) and Ricky Pearsall (14.8) also had solid days, unfortunately they were on the bench.

10. Ghostbusters (Last Week #3)
​

One of these seasons I am going to have the balls to bench the Burrow/Chase connection in Week 1. How bad has it been.

Is it just me or does it seem like the injuries start piling up during Week 2 of each fantasy season. Just this Sunday alone, we saw 5 QB's go down who might not be able to go next week. The worst of these injuries was Joe Burrow, who could be sidelined until mid-December. Justin Fields (Concussion), J.J. McCarthy (phantom ankle injury), Jayden Daniels (knee) and Brock Purdy (Toe/Shoulder) are also expected to miss some time in the short-term.

Here are some other notable injuries through 2 Weeks:

RB: Aaron Jones (hamstring)/Austin Ekeler (achilles)
WR: Brian Thomas Jr (wrist)/Xavier Worthy (shoulder)/Jayden Reed (collarbone)
TE: Dallas Goedert (Knee)

Ekeler is out for the season and Reed looks like he will miss extended time, but the rest look like week-to-week injuries. Luckily none of the injuries so far should have any season-ending impact on the teams that are rostering them. We are a 10-Team league with 20-man rosters so everybody has adequate backups they can turn to. As always, keep combing the waiver wires and it wouldn't kill you to make a trade offer or two.

Other than that, scoring in the league seems to be trending in the right direction. After an average score of 121/game last week, we saw scoring jump to 137/game, no thanks to Kahn (55) and Tomlins (96) dragging everyone else down. One point I neglected to state when comparing scores year over year: in 2024 we had an extra starting position (Kicker) that we eliminated in 2025. So I would expect scores to be down about 10 points/game when comparing seasons.

Now on to our rankings.

1. Stick Rock (Last Week #1)

This season is starting off a lot like last season's team for Rocky... except this year he is 2-0 instead of 0-2. Malik Nabers (39.7), Jonathan Taylor (30.5) and Jordan Love (24.88) scored big. Unfortunately they were on a bye week this week, so all the scoring went for naught. Oh, wait. Rocky wasn't on a bye. He played Wrath of Kahn who decided not to show up.

2. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #4)

​​​After the QBs combined for just 20.8 points last week, Goff (43.96) and Prescott (26.14) combined for 70 points this week. Add in Nacua's 29.6 and Achane's 26.2 and this one was over early.

3. Dark Helmet (Last Week #9)

​Dark Helemt takes a lot of shit in these rankings each week, but the fact of the matter is, Dan is third in our league in all-time victories. His auto-drafts never make sense but somehow it works (yes - even picking 7 Wide Receivers with his first 8 picks can be defended). James Cook (29.5), Bo Nix (26) and Davante Adams (22.6) led a team-wide scoring bonanza that saw every player in their lineup score at least 14 points.

4. Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #7)

​What a difference a year makes. MKBA barely held on for the victory on MNF as they squeak out a 1.34 point victory to avoid an 0-2 start. Lamar Jackson (34.3), Jayden Daniels (23.7) and Ceedee Lamb (20.2) did just enough to hold on for the win.

5. Milford Football Team (Last Week #3)

​MFT's modest 1-game win streak came to an abrupt end as they ran into a buzzsaw this week against Helmet. Daniel Jones (24.84) continues to make Brian Daboll look like he doesn't know how to coach while Deebo Samuel (17.4) and Tetairoa McMillan (16) gave some juice to an otherwise lifeless offense in Week 2. By the way, how did the Bills score 30 and Josh Allen only end up with 11.82 Fantasy Points?

6. Ghostbusters (Last Week #10)

After the Week 1 no-show, Ghostbusters bounce back with an impressive 151.44 point outing despite losing QB1 early in the 1st half. Like I have been preaching, it's all about the WRs. The trio of Amon Ra St. Brown (39.2) Jamar Chase (36.5) and George Pickens (17.8) combined for 94 points, 11 more points than the entire team had in Week 1.

7. Peeping Tomlin's (Last Week #5)

​​​​No Monday Night miracle this week as The Tomlin's failed to crack 100-points. Caleb Williams (20.8) and Bucky Irving (18.1) were the only starters to score over 15 points in a game that saw his bench outscore the starters 110-98. How is that JJ McCarthy/Justin Jefferson stack working out for you? **Looks up and sees that the Vikings invented an injury so they can bench McCarthy** I am going to guess, "not good".

8. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #2)

​​​​I am trying to recall if we ever had a team enter MNF with a point total as low as Kahn's 17.08. Baker Mayfield (23.9) and Mike Evans (10.6) combined for 34.5 points on MNF. The rest of the team could only muster 21-points. Yikes! There is a lot of talent on this roster, but as I mentioned in the draft rankings, there are not a lot of players that can be trusted week in and week out. Jim will make himself crazy trying to decide who to start each week. Do yourself a favor. Try packaging 3 of the really good players you have and try to pry a great player from another team.

9. Skoal Bandits (Last Week #8)

​​​​A heartbreaking defeat for the Bandits this week as they drop to 0-2. They had multiple chances to win this game, but unfortunately Geno Smith did Geno Smith things on Monday Night and the Bandits fall 1.34 points short of victory. Those preseason rankings feel like a distant memory. The QBs (Mac Jones - 27.76/Drake Maye-30.3) were great and the RBs (CMC-22.7 and Bijan Robinson-20.8) were even better.

10. John's Scary Team (Last Week #6)

​​The hospitality the league showed John last week was gone in Week 2, as they go down in defeat 151-106. Patrick Mahomes (24.08) and JSN (18.3) led the way in this one as no other player managed to score more than 13 points this week. You'll have another chance at your first victory next week when you go up against your dad. (Try going into his account and sit all of his starters. I bet his password is "Fat-Steve#69”).
